At that moment, no business deal matters. No degree, no beauty, no unfinished argument on social media. Only one thing: Was I among the Foremost? The Right Hand? Or the Left?

Pause. Read that again. The soul. At the throat. The final rattle. The room goes silent. And the Surah asks: "And you are at that moment looking on—but We are nearer to him than you, though you do not see." (56:85) At that moment, no business deal matters
This is the core of Al-Waqi’ah. It brings the reader to their own deathbed while still breathing—so they may choose before choice ends. And yet, the Surah does not end in despair. It ends with a command and a promise: "Then exalt the name of your Lord, the Most Great." (56:96) The Right Hand
This is not to humiliate, but to awaken. If you cannot control the simplest drop of water in a womb or a seed in the soil, how can you deny the One who does? The same Hand that splits the grain also splits the grave. The same Power that ignites the fire will ignite the Judgment. Deep within Al-Waqi’ah is a quiet, devastating verse (56:83): "Then why, when the soul reaches the throat..."
