The hardware is essentially a rebranded/derivative of the ALC711 or ALC3271 family. It supports high-definition audio, modern standby, and jack retasking well. No complaints about the DAC quality at 24-bit/192kHz.

When the correct driver is installed, the audio is crisp, with decent dynamic range for a laptop codec. The headphone jack detection (if present) is instantaneous, and DTS/Sound Blaster processing works flawlessly with the official Realtek UAD (Universal Audio Driver) package.
