Bride Wars Rated Direct

3/5 stars. A beautiful disaster.

The film’s happy ending—where they reconcile at a double wedding—is cheesy, but the journey is surprisingly cathartic. It suggests that friendship can survive the worst version of ourselves. That might not be high art, but it is a high-wire act that deserves more than a 7%. If you judge Bride Wars by the metric of a Best Picture winner—coherent plotting, subtle character arcs, social commentary—then yes, 7% is generous. The film is structurally messy, the male leads (Chris Pratt and Steve Howey) are afterthoughts, and the resolution relies on a deus ex machina. bride wars rated
