It was buried on page fourteen of a forum thread titled "Abandonware & Weird ROMs." The URL was a mess of random characters ending in /romsfun/untitled.bin . No screenshots, no reviews, just a single comment from a user named "Cryptkeeper_Carl": "This one plays you back."

He loaded it into the emulator anyway. The usual Konami logo stuttered, pixelated into static, and then—nothing. A black screen. Then, a single line of white text in the bottom corner:
The rain outside stopped. Leo looked at his window. The glass was fogged, but not from cold. From breath—on the inside. And pressed into the fog, backwards as if written from the other side, were four letters: "You like exploring castles, Leo
The text box reappeared. White words on black:
Silence.
He never played Symphony of the Night again. But sometimes, late at night, he hears the first three notes of “Dracula’s Castle” coming from his closet. And when he checks the mirror in the morning, his reflection is always one frame behind.
