Icons On Desktop ^new^ — Change

Under "Related Settings," click Desktop icon settings .

Browse to your .ico file or choose from the default library. change icons on desktop

In the new window, select the icon you want to change (e.g., Recycle Bin (full) ). Under "Related Settings," click Desktop icon settings

Click OK , then Apply , then OK . For Windows 10: Step 1: Right-click the desktop and select Personalize . Under "Related Settings

Right-click it and select Show more options (Windows 11) → Send to → Desktop (create shortcut) .

Find the original app in the Start Menu or File Explorer.

Right-click the icon or folder you want to change.
