For nearly two decades, EA Sports’ Fight Night Round 3 has held a legendary status among sports gaming fans. Released in 2006, it was a graphical showcase for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, introducing the revolutionary “Total Punch Control” system via the right analog stick. While the Xbox 360 version is playable on modern Xbox consoles, the PS3 version—with its slightly different lighting and particle effects—remained locked to aging hardware. That is, until RPCS3 came of age.
