Pete steps outside, letting rain pass through his shoulder. "You know," he says, "I don't feel it. But I remember what wet felt like. And that's enough."

After a historic drought on the Woodstone property uncovers a forgotten wishing well, Sam discovers that the ghosts aren't just tied to the land—they are powered by it, forcing her to make an impossible choice when a real estate developer offers to buy the well’s water rights. And Hetty—for the first time—deliberately phases her hand through Margo’s tablet, corrupting the data on the mineral assay.
