Recap: Who is the Bocil Sultan? For the uninitiated, Bocil Sultan follows Andi , a 12-year-old who unexpectedly inherits a multi-trillion rupiah empire from a mysterious, estranged grandfather. Unlike your typical rags-to-riches story, Andi doesn’t buy mansions or sports cars (he can’t even drive yet). Instead, he uses his fortune to solve everyday school problems in the most over-the-top, hilarious ways possible. Episode 2: “Warung vs. Mall” Episode 2 opens with a deceptively simple problem: Andi’s favorite school canteen vendor, Bu Tuti , is about to go bankrupt because a new minimarket across the street is stealing all her customers.

The artist goes wild with visual metaphors. When Andi checks his bank balance, the zeroes literally stretch across two pages.
