When a cryptic voice message surfaces on his abandoned phone ("You were right to leave. Don't come looking."), Maya takes an unpaid leave and returns to her coastal hometown. There, she finds Leo's apartment frozen in time: a wall of missing posters for other young men, a notebook filled with coordinates, and a single photograph of the two of them at age ten—the summer their mother first went missing.
