| Option | Why it’s better | |--------|------------------| | | Full modern MK experience, active online, all DLC. Performance is rough but playable. | | Mortal Kombat (2011) on PC (Steam) | The definitive version – 60 FPS, high resolutions, mods. Then stream it to a Steam Deck or phone via Moonlight. | | PPSSPP + Mortal Kombat: Unchained | That’s the PSP version (MK: Deception’s portable port). Runs flawlessly, but it’s a different, older game. | Final Verdict: Should You Hunt for the MK Vita ROM? For collection and preservation: Yes – absolutely. Back up your own cartridge and keep that .vpk safe. The PS Vita version is a marvel of optimization and deserves to be remembered.
