“I’m graduating. Do I lose my email?” Solution: Yes and no. Alumni typically lose access to their @nau.edu mailbox 1-2 semesters after graduation, but they retain a forwarding address or a limited alumni account. Before you graduate, save any important documents or contacts to a personal cloud drive or external hard drive. Security is Non-Negotiable NAU, like all universities, is a prime target for phishing scams. You will receive fake emails that look like they are from “NAU IT Support” asking you to click a link to “verify your account.” nau email
“My mailbox is full.” Solution: NAU provides generous storage (often 50GB+), but attachments add up. Use OneDrive (1TB of free cloud storage) to save large files, then paste the shareable link into your email instead of attaching the file itself.
