I recently watched/read Security Main Devar , and while the concept is unique, the execution left me with mixed feelings.
The plot relies heavily on coincidences. How does the devar always end up being the only guard around when trouble strikes? Also, the villain’s motive is paper-thin. The bhabhi ’s character is underutilized—she’s reduced to a damsel in distress despite being a working woman. The “security” aspects (CCTV, protocols, etc.) are portrayed unrealistically; it feels more like a masala film than a serious thriller. security main devar
Title: "Protective Devar Turns Security Guard – But Plot Has Holes" I recently watched/read Security Main Devar , and
3.5/5 – Good timepass, not a masterpiece. If you meant something else by "Security Main Devar" (e.g., a specific web series, a news incident, or a regional film), let me know and I’ll tailor the review accordingly! Also, the villain’s motive is paper-thin
The storyline flips traditional family dynamics. The devar (played convincingly by the lead actor) isn't just the usual comic relief or scheming brother-in-law—he takes up a security job to protect his bhabhi (brother's wife) from real threats. His loyalty, silent sacrifices, and action sequences are genuinely engaging. The emotional scene where he explains why security is his “dharma” hits hard.
Watch it if you enjoy family dramas with a dose of action and don’t mind logical gaps. For a tight security thriller, it misses the mark. But for devar-bhabhi sentiment wrapped in a heroic package? It works in parts.
