This was a terrifying place. The animation was beautiful—gothic, hand-drawn Tamil vampires and demons. But the film was unfinished because the lead animator had vanished. A shadow monster, born from unpaid studio bills and broken promises, stalked them. Kumar realized the only way to defeat it was to animate a single new frame: a cheque.
