Click the Start button (Windows icon) on your taskbar and type "Store." Open the Microsoft Store app.
Find the downloaded file and double-click it. If Windows SmartScreen appears, click Run anyway .
The setup will extract files and install the app. This takes less than a minute.
In the Store's search bar (top-right), type WhatsApp and press Enter.
Open your web browser (Edge, Chrome, Firefox) and go to: www.whatsapp.com/download
Look for the official app published by WhatsApp Inc. It is simply called "WhatsApp." Avoid third-party or clone apps.
