The episode picks up right after Season 2’s finale, with the Cooper family dealing with the aftermath of Sheldon’s trip to Germany (where he was visiting a university). Mary misses Sheldon terribly, while Sheldon himself struggles with cultural differences and homesickness abroad. Meanwhile, Georgie and Missy enjoy the temporary freedom at home, and Meemaw provides her usual witty support.
