For a show that relies on shadowy forest imagery (codec killers, by the way), the HEVC encode handles the dark, grainy textures of the wilderness better than x264 at a lower bitrate.

But here is the problem: Standard x264 1080p releases of Season 3 are running between 3.5GB to 5GB per episode. Multiply that by ten episodes, and you are looking at nearly 50GB for a single season. That is absurd.
